Theatre and the Arts

Sterts Theatre is a unique theatre on the moor which has excellent local productions in the summer and also sees many touring companies. The theatre is in a static marquee with wooden seats cut into a slope – take a cushion! The restaurant provides first class food, plus a barbecue on many evenings.

Kneehigh, Cornwall’s favourite internationally-acclaimed theatre company is based in Truro and during the summer has one of its quirky and original offerings in The Asylum, a marquee based next to The Lost Gardens of Helligan.

The Theatre Royal in Plymouth is one of the country’s outstanding regional theatres, often showing West End productions.
